Well here we are, friends. Three years. I've spent three years writing this blog, and using it to share favorite things, musings on life, and my photography with you. My favorite thing about creating Skyline Blossoms continues to be how much I have learned, and how much more I still want to learn. I remain incredibly grateful for this space as a source of inspiration and as a creative spur, prodding me to create something each week. That may mean making a new recipe, exploring my neighborhood, tales of my travels, or writing down my thoughts on life lately.
I've been writing this blog through a full period of life, with much joy and many changes. When I launched Skyline Blossoms, I was living in a studio in the West Village and dating Doug. I missed flexing my creative muscle and had thought of launching a personal blog for some time. I finally took the plunge, and Doug's encouragement and support played a large role in making that leap. Now, three years later, we're married, living in Brooklyn, and expecting our first child this summer. Through it all, Skyline Blossoms has become a chronicle, growing and changing along with me.
Thank you, thank you, for reading, and in doing so for being a part of this journey with me!
Two years of Skyline Blossoms
p.s. In other milestones that I'm commemorating this week, it's been one year since we brought Foster home with us. She's a joy and just completely sweet and hilarious, even when she tries to distract me from writing blog posts!
