While I'm not inclined to overhaul my entire skincare / beauty regime multiple times a year, I do make a few seasonal updates. This spring, that refresh is coming in the form of two new blushes: Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Blossoming and Tata Harper Lip and Cheek Tint in Very Vivacious. I should mention that I'm a total convert to cream blushes and an ardent fan of lip-and-cheek combos. I love the ease of applying blush and/or lip color with my fingertips and am totally sold on the natural-looking flush that cream blushes impart.
I wear RMS Lip2Cheek in Demure all year round (odds are it's what I'm wearing on any given day) and I especially love the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelée in Pink Escape in fall and winter. Despite it's intense appearance in the pot, Josie Maran's cream / stain hybrid goes on incredibly light and is very wearable.
The Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Blossoming (which is very appropriately named for both this season and this blog!) is a lovely rosy pink that is right in my wheelhouse. It's light and sweet and super classic. I was first introduced to the Tata Harper Lip and Cheek Tint in Very Vivacious via a remarkably successful sample. It's the product and shade that convinced me, contrary to what I had long believed, that I could in fact wear corals. The coral tone is more apparent in the photo below in which I'm wearing Tata Harper's Vary Vivacious on both my cheeks and lips. I see myself wearing this shade more and more as spring turns into summer.
You guys, this is big. I'm wearing coral!
