After visiting Acadia National Park, our New England road trip took us towards the southern coast of Maine. After meandering down the coast, we spent a rainy afternoon contentedly eating our way through Portland. I had heard great things about Portland's food scene, and our introduction left me craving more. We started with small plates and cocktails at Eventide Oyster Co. and subsequently made our way down the block for poutine, hearty panini, and craft beers at Duckfat. It was both decadent and totally satisfying.
We enjoyed exploring quaint Kennebunkport, from biking around the town and surrounding area to relaxing at Goose Rocks Beach. I loved visiting Spaces, which is my go-to source for bracelets by The Ropes. We stopped for lobster rolls in town at The Clam Shack, and had an incredible dinner at Earth at Hidden Pond Resort. All told, we ate very well in Maine!
