Whether on a date, catching up with a friend, or with a big group, Lafayette Grand Café & Bakery does it all. I've enjoyed Lafayette's satisfying French bistro fare for brunches, lunches, and dinners in all of the above circumstances, and have never been disappointed. It's also a wonderful spot if to grab excellent coffee (they serve up Stumptown) and pastries to enjoy on the go.
Occupying a bright, sunny corner in NoHo (one of my favorite neighborhoods), Lafayette offers outdoor seating in a sidewalk cafe that feels surprisingly like an oasis, shaded from the passing city life. I heartily encourage you to explore the charm of a meal - any meal - at Lafayette for yourself.
Take my advice, and have a Ricky Rosé this summer. Seriously. Do it.
The Monaco is also very good. And the almond croissant? It's perfect.
Have I mentioned the pastries? They are not to be missed.
